On the 29th March, 2019, Society for Women and Youths Affairs introduced to her Centre Canadian Throw Pillows and Auto-Gele Head respectively. The training duration was two weeks each. The objective of the skill acquisition program is to provide an alternative livelihood for young women in the Niger Delta.Speaking to the trainees, the Executive Director of Society for Women and Youths Affairs, Stella Amanie who was the trainer during the orientation welcomed the trainees, thanked them for the wiliness to acquire the skill and charged them to be committed and dedicated to what they have chosen to do.
Finally, she told them the story of how she acquired the skill on line and the potential it had that can make them financially free and employers of labours.
The Auto Gele training was conducted by SWAYA consultant Mrs. Benedicta Ogbuji who encouraged the women to take the training seriously to be able to improve on their standard of living and that of their family through the skill.
A total number of 7 trainees enrolled for Canadian Throw Pillow and 12 trainees for Auto-Gele.
