We wind down COP 29 yesterday as SWAYA Representative was part of the Panelists for a discussion held at meeting room 22 zone D, at COP29 Azerbaijan we shared thoughts on local initiatives in shaping the impact of climate change in the Global South stressing the need for a Fast and Fair Transition by demanding that the Global North pays up the Climate Finance in trillions dollars and not Billions.
We had the opportunity to push forward ambitions, cross-sectoral strategies that embed sustainability into every aspect of our lives. Knowing that to make real progress, we need global unity and holistic environmental, social and economic goal
