Society for women and youths affairs with its strong commitment to alleviate the suffering of women and youths who are the poor and vulnerable in the Niger Delta took her one month Agro-preneurship livelihood project to both selected crude oil impacted communities in khana and gokana local government area of rivers state, Nigeria one month each in 2018. The Agro-preneurship program areas were in snail, fish, mush room, poultry, bee farming and piggery respectively.
The aim of the training is to provide an alternative means of livelihood to women and youths in Ogoni land and make for self-reliance.

Two consultants were engaged to handle the training. They were:
Mr Eric Okorie, and Mr Charles, agropreneurs, consultants and products of Shanghai Farm also took the participants on fish, mushroom, poultry, snail farming and piggery respectively.
At the end of the training, a total number of 100 women and youth from selected khana and Gokana communities benefited from the project.
