On June 5th, 2025, Team SWAYA had the honor of participating in the official flag-off ceremony of the Optimized Maternal and Child Health Week (OMCHW) and Malaria Intervention Program held at the Modern Primary Health Care (MPHC), Ogale I, Eleme LGA, Rivers State.
This important initiative marks a renewed commitment to improving the health and well-being of mothers and children, while also tackling the persistent burden of malaria in our communities. The week-long campaign aims to provide essential health services including immunizations, antenatal care, nutritional support, distribution of insecticide-treated nets, and health education on preventive practices for both mothers and their children.
Team SWAYA is proud to stand alongside healthcare workers, community leaders, local authorities, and stakeholders who are working tirelessly to strengthen primary healthcare delivery and ensure that every woman and child—regardless of location—has access to quality, life-saving health services.
The event also highlighted the power of community engagement and inter-organizational collaboration in achieving sustainable health outcomes. We remain committed to supporting grassroots efforts, advocating for inclusive healthcare, and driving awareness around key public health interventions.
Together, we can build healthier futures for our communities.
